How Much ACV in a Gummy? The Label Math
How much ACV in a gummy depends on the brand, and Jellutide does not print it. Its label shows only a 525 mg blend of apple cider vinegar and BHB salts. The mineral lines cap the salts at about 27 mg, which leaves about 498 mg or more for vinegar. That is an estimate, not a lab result.

How much ACV is in one Jellutide gummy?
One Jellutide gummy holds about 498 mg or more of apple cider vinegar. We worked that out; the label does not say it.
The Supplement Facts panel lists one number for the blend: 525 mg. Under it sit apple cider vinegar and three BHB salts, with no single amounts.
US rules let a maker hide the amount of each part inside a blend, as long as the parts are listed from most to least by weight (21 CFR 101.36). Vinegar is listed first, so it weighs more than the salts.
How do you work out the vinegar in a gummy blend?
Subtract the most the BHB salts could weigh from the 525 mg blend total.
The panel lists calcium (1 mg), magnesium (0.75 mg) and sodium (2.5 mg). If all of those minerals came from the BHB salts, the salts would weigh about 27 mg at most. The sodium citrate in the gummy base adds some sodium too, so the true salt weight is probably lower.
525 mg blend minus about 27 mg of salts leaves about 498 mg or more of vinegar. Label numbers are rounded, so keep the words "about" and "estimate" attached to it.
The full breakdown of every line is on the Supplement Facts page.
Is 498 mg of ACV the same as 498 mg of acetic acid?
No. The 498 mg is the weight of the vinegar ingredient, not of its acid.
The label does not say whether the vinegar is liquid or dried powder, or how much acetic acid it carries. That matters because ACV tablets tested in one study varied a lot in size, acid content and label claims (Hill 2005, ACV tablets). One product that claimed 35 percent acid held 3.2 percent in that report.
So a gummy's vinegar number tells you the weight of an ingredient, not its strength. Without the acid figure, nobody can compare it with a study.

See packsHow does a gummy compare with the amounts used in studies?
A gummy holds a small fraction of the vinegar used in research.
A 12-week trial gave adults 15 or 30 mL of liquid vinegar a day, with 750 or 1,500 mg of acetic acid (Kondo 2009, vinegar trial). Liquid vinegar weighs about 1 g per mL, so 15 mL is roughly 15,000 mg. That is about 30 times the whole gummy blend.
| Source | Vinegar amount |
|---|---|
| One Jellutide gummy | About 498 mg or more (estimate) |
| Vinegar weight trial (Kondo 2009, vinegar trial) | 15 or 30 mL a day, for 12 weeks |
No study has tested the Jellutide gummy itself. See the apple cider vinegar page for the dose table and cautions.
What should you check before buying a vinegar gummy?
Read the Supplement Facts panel on the bottle that arrives, and ask what the blend hides.
- Is the vinegar amount printed, or only a blend total?
- Is the form named, and is the acetic acid content stated?
- How much sugar does one gummy add? Jellutide lists 2 g of sugars, 1 g of it added.

FAQ01
ACV gummy amount questions
Do ACV gummies list how much vinegar they contain?
Not always. Some labels print only a proprietary blend total, and the rules allow that when the parts are listed by weight from most to least (21 CFR 101.36). Jellutide does this, so its vinegar amount has to be estimated from the other label lines.
Is the ACV in a gummy liquid or powder?
It depends on the maker, and the label often does not say. The Jellutide label names apple cider vinegar but gives no form. Most trials used liquid vinegar in a drink (Castagna 2025, ACV meta-analysis), so the form matters when you compare a gummy with research.
Does a gummy have as much ACV as a tablespoon of vinegar?
No. A tablespoon of liquid vinegar is about 15 mL, which weighs roughly 15,000 mg. One Jellutide gummy holds a 525 mg blend in total, with vinegar making up about 498 mg or more of it.
