BHB Salt Minerals: What Calcium, Magnesium and Sodium Reveal
BHB salt minerals reveal how much salt a gummy can hold. The Jellutide panel lists calcium 1 mg, magnesium 0.75 mg and sodium 2.5 mg. If all of it came from BHB salts, they weigh about 27 mg at most, which leaves about 498 mg or more of the 525 mg blend for apple cider vinegar.

The problem01
Why can minerals reveal the BHB amount?
Because a BHB salt is a ketone plus a mineral, so every milligram of mineral in the gummy points to a little salt. The label hides single amounts inside a proprietary blend, which the rule allows (21 CFR 101.36).
The same rule lists blend parts from most to least by weight (21 CFR 101.36). Apple cider vinegar comes first, so it outweighs the salts. The mineral lines let us say by how much.
The math02
How do you work out the BHB salt in one gummy?
Take each mineral line, assume all of it came from its BHB salt, and divide by the mineral's share of that salt by weight.
Calcium
1 mg divided by 0.163 is about 6.1 mg of calcium BHB.
Magnesium
0.75 mg divided by 0.105 is about 7.1 mg of magnesium BHB.
Sodium
2.5 mg divided by 0.182 is about 13.7 mg of sodium BHB.
Add them: 6.1 + 7.1 + 13.7 is about 27 mg of salts, or about 23 mg of BHB itself.

The limits03
How reliable is the BHB salt math?
It gives a ceiling, not an exact figure. Label values are rounded, so we always say "about" and "at most".
Sodium also comes from sodium citrate in the gummy base, so the salts are likely lower than 27 mg. Calcium and magnesium could come from elsewhere too. Every other source only lowers the estimate.
| Panel line | Most salt it allows |
|---|---|
| Calcium 1 mg | About 6.1 mg |
| Magnesium 0.75 mg | About 7.1 mg |
| Sodium 2.5 mg | About 13.7 mg |
| All three | About 27 mg |

What does the BHB salt math leave for the vinegar?
About 498 mg or more of the 525 mg blend, since 525 minus about 27 is about 498.
So the gummy is mostly vinegar in the blend, with the salts a small part. Compare that with studies: ketone salt drinks gave about 12 to 24 g of BHB (Stubbs 2017, Front Physiol). One gummy holds about 23 mg of BHB, roughly 0.2 percent of the low end.
The label does not say whether the vinegar is liquid or powder, and ACV tablets varied widely in acid content (Hill 2005, ACV tablets). The sales page promises "24/7 automatic fat-burning" (Jellutide sales page); the math shows no such dose.

Care05
What else should you read on the panel?
The sugars and the caution line. Each gummy has 2 g of sugars, 1 g of it added.
The label asks anyone on medicine, pregnant or nursing, or with a medical condition to check with a professional first. Keep taking prescribed medicine, including any GLP-1 medicine. See the supplement facts page for every line.
FAQ06
Jellutide questions people ask
What are the weight shares of calcium, magnesium and sodium in BHB salts?
We used about 16.3 percent for calcium BHB, 10.5 percent for magnesium BHB and 18.2 percent for sodium BHB. They come from the chemistry of each salt and match the 6.1, 7.1 and 13.7 mg results above.
Could the minerals come from somewhere else?
Yes. Sodium citrate in the gummy base adds sodium. Any mineral from another source means less BHB salt, so 27 mg stays a ceiling, not a measurement, and the true amount is likely lower.
Why does Jellutide not print the BHB amount?
The labeling rule only requires the blend total, 525 mg, and the parts listed from most to least by weight (21 CFR 101.36). It does not require the amount of each ingredient inside the blend.
Is 27 mg of BHB salts a lot?
No. Study drinks gave about 12 to 24 g of BHB (Stubbs 2017, Front Physiol). Twenty-seven milligrams is a very small fraction of that, and no study has tested the gummy.
